Property was great value and unique, I greatly enjoyed the stay.
I had a very lovely stay and will choose the place for future trips! The bed and pillows where comfortable, the room was recently renovated and great-sized. Everyone who worked there was affable. The location was excellant for getting around, as a train station was near the hotel. The main bar was pleasant.

The venue was in a central location just off train station as well as a great bakery/café. The family king room had all we needed, including particularly good bathroom.

Immaculate and reasonably spacious unit with fresh ground coffee, shower, big fluffy towels. A lot of outstanding food. Amazing and magnificent location in Frodsham, very close to chester, elton and runcorn, and train station and loads of pubs and restaurants.
Chatty staff!

Immaculate and extremely spacious units for a foldaway bed to be put up for my daughter, truly enjoyed it. The staff I encountered were very nice. This hotel was located in a central area next to a great bakery and train station, shops and bars and eateries.

The room was tidy and cheap, huge bathroom. The location was handy and easy, within walking distance of Castle Park Arts Centre. It was located in a peaceful area so close to the restaurant, pubs and restaurants, and centre.

Central location was a plus. Sometimes it was cold outside, so we went to Top Taste Pizza, had some food there.

The location of the Hotel in the centre of the town was excellent and is within strolling distance of the magnificent local park. The bedroom had that deliberate 'ye old worldly' look about it and the double bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The Reception staff were friendly and professional and the check in and check out was hassle free. I had to check out pre breakfast time on the Sunday but they kindly offered to prepare something for me 30mts before the kitchen was due to open. The other major plus for me is that they allow pets.
My room (5) was spacious and comfortable but unfortunately it was directly above the main entrance. It was very warm weather which meant that I had to leave my room window open at night and I was constantly disturbed by people coming and going from the Hotel, or standing outside chatting whilst having a cigarette. Note to the cleaners, the cupboard below the wash hand basin could do with a dusting around the edge of the panels, you will see what I mean if you sit on the toilet and look at it :-)

The convenience and charm and friendliness of the staff
On checking out I advised that one of the light bulbs in the room was not working. No apology was offered and not a lot of interest seemed to be expressed in my having bothered, I thought, to be helpful.

Was easy to come and go even when had to work odd hours. Very dog friendly.
Rm 5: Temperature of shower was difficult to maintain and was impossible not to flood the floor & basin tap loose. Rm 9: toilet difficult to flush. Breakfast limited for price of accommodation. Pleasant place to stay but over priced for what it is.

I love the location in the heart of Frodsham. It is quaint and very English indeed
My complaint is about Booked.net. When we arrived at the Old Hall Hotel they had no notification of our booking and were surprised, but immediately shifted things around and made us very welcome.
